Wow, that's a long 4 months since I last blogged. Hehe, well yeah same old excuse... I was busy with work. As some of you might know, I moved from my previous work in fFurious to Qais Consulting. Things are quite fast paced there and it's definitely challenging but at times tiring. But it's alright... I'm just thankful to have an awesome job still and be in the company of some of the best in the industry.
These are all the games I have made when I was working as a Developer in Neopets.
I didn't notice actually Kids in Neopets
actually found all my games!

Play Bouncy Supreme
There is a part of Jelly World where the Jelly isn't as tasty as it should be. An inhospitable place, filled with Jelly Volcanoes, rivers of Jelly Lava and ominous Jelly Clouds.
In Bouncy Supreme you play the part of a rather unlucky Jelly Blumaroo who has bounced his way a bit
too far away from home, and really wants to get back. Unfortunately a gigantic Pterodactyl has spied
his lunch...
Hop into your Cloud Racer and try to head off your opponent with a thick trail of smoke.
Using the arrow keys navigate your racer around trees, houses, and the smoke trail of each opponent.
Try to defeat them as quickly as you can in order to earn as many points as possible.
As you can see the cross on Mt. Samat is very large. The cross piece is the observation area and looking out you can see birds flying below you.
Okay, im gaining so much weight lately and I am thinking it's time for me to start hitting the gym. But I'm thinking, what happens if i end up being like some of my friends who enrolled themselves in the gym but hardly goes. AND - what will happen if my contract expires and I have no more intention of renewing in case my work load has doubled.
Ugh. Oh well. Just a lazy Saturday afternoon.
It has been three months since I wrote something and so much has already changed... well just the job but still.. here in Singapore nothing else is bigger than your job so to me that feels like my life now.

Had the chance to visit Phuket 3 weeks ago and it was incredible. I recommend you visit that wonderful paradise soon. Four days is not enough, there's so much more things left to do like diving and kayaking at Ao Pha Nga but maybe next summer we can go back again and spend maybe a whole week. Click here to see my pitcures from the trip! :)
I'm contemplating whether i should shift my current website to Wordpress and just do micro blogging from there. You know, post interesting things I see everyday from different sites? Or maybe the world wide web is just full of that already.. what you think? Anyway.. I have not time to do it yet anyway. I'm cherishing the free time I have... until I have to work twice as hard again. :)
A bestfriend told me she's pregnant, and I am so very happy for her... realizing that I've known her for quite sometime and being there for her durign all those changes in her life and to see it... i just feel bad to not be there with her and her "husband" for now and I really really really miss them a lot. Sometimes I wonder wether I'm still their best friend or not. Hahaha. Oh well, i guess fate has a way of changing, even when you don't want it to.
My dear boyfriend and bestfriend also might be going home for good soon... and it's going to be another big change for me. Big big change... i don't know if i'll be strong enough to face it... I hope i will be. But we'll see.
i don't know what made me think that i could do it. when before even just the thought of submerging myself into that sinister blackness would send my heart racing and my head automatically shaking from side to side, no, no, no.
i am very much afraid of the dark. terrified of not seeing something that's about to pounce on me. just as terrified of seeing something that i don't want to see.
it's a wonder i can close my eyes to sleep at all.
but that night, for some unknowable reason, the thought of night diving scared me less than usual. was it because i had earlier experienced an almost-panic that was a relief to overcome? was it because i was enjoying diving so much after such a long drought that i just wanted more? or was it because i didn't give myself time to think - probably the only way i ever get to conquer, or at the very least face, any of my fears.
and so i went. putting on the gear was nerve-wracking (what if i miss something?), and once inside the water, i almost destroyed my borrowed flashlight (i didn't know how to turn it on). and then we deflated our bc's and went down.
it helped that the moon was particularly bright that night. helped that we were diving in familiar waters. the beams from the flashlights were extremely comforting. they were constant reminders that i wasn't alone. that my friends were still okay. their confidence was my comfort.
we soon reached the classroom where i was told we'd need to shut our lights off for a few minutes. apparently something surprising was going to happen.
i had no idea what - i couldn't have imagined what came after. who knew that you could find the night sky with all its thousands of stars underwater? this proof that the sea contains the sky and the sky contains the sea makes me feel like i've just been given a small but oh so valuable glimpse into the way God's mind works. who else could plan things out so beautifully?
those are my absolute favorite experiences. the ones that fill my heart and calm my soul. the ones that make God's presence so undeniable and real. the ones that make me feel His hand on my head.
the world is fearfully and wonderfully made. i want to explore every inch of it.
While we were in Singapore we went to the Underwater world a large Oceanarium in Sentosa. The first Oceanarium that I went to was in Manila and was built by the same company as the one in Singapore.
Luckily we arrived just in time for feeding the stingrays. A small piece of fish is put between your middle finger and your pointer fingers and then you slide your hand down the glass. The Stingray will then suck the piece of fish from between your fingers. Very, very strange, it feels kinda like a wet vacuum cleaner.
The aquariums are very large, with hundreds if not thousands of different fish. A tunnel runs through and underneath a number of tanks. Some of the fish are longer than 3 meters and it is really overwhelming the first time you step on the 83 meter long travelator (think horizontal escalator). The photo of Helen came out very nice. Since I was on the travelator with Helen she is in focus and the everthing else is slighty blurred.
