for my part i wanted to integrate video into one of my interactive projects so mine was a bit special hehe. the rest of them are a bit stressful because theyve been doing it since wednesday. eric and belindas projects are pure mographs and mine is for interactive.
the models this time around are quite good, they seem to know what to do and how to do it naturally, especially mary and rohan.
the wardrobe that we used will be auctioned to us starting at 50% off then going from there. i wanted to get the suit but its quite big for me so, yeah, to hell with it. we always buy clothes / or hire models that are near our size so itll be easier to sell the clothes to us and use the money to buy new ones. belinda's the ultra fashionista in the company so she takes care of the clothes, from buying to pairing to keeping them, which ones are good to keep and... which ones are her size.
my project was about matching perspectives and angles with my stills so that when i integrate them to the project it will be seamless as much as possible. if not then its still easy to manage, the errors, i mean.
out of boredom, we happen to know that threadless is having a sale so all of us bought two to four shirts each. out of boredom we played uno until everyones sick of it and for the most fun one, we get to try the clothes hehe.
so yeah, it was fun, i love studio shoots but a bit tiring because you get locked in a big room for the whole day, unlike when we do locations ones. but at least here we can control the lights and we dont have to wait for the perfect weather. its both pros and cons, but to me the best part is, directing models, theyre so damn hot and i was like: can you do this for me? then shes like: yep, no problem. being behind the camera is good man, seriously, you guys should try it once in a while.
